The bird noticed the danger and is about to take off. Close enough to erase the distance in a single leap, the jaguar remains still. The jaguar acknowledges its advantage, yet chooses not to interrupt the bird's path. It observes the bird without haste. The power of the jaguar is expressed through restraint, where it chooses not to exercise an absolute advantage. Should it attack, the outcome is already known. What remains is choice.
